Schweitzer Intermediate Skiing

Intermediate skiers can enjoy about 40 percent of Schweitzer’s terrain and have unlimited access to both the front-side of the mountain—Schweitzer Bowl—and Outback Bowl, accessed via Sunny Side chairlift and Great Escape Quad. Some intermediate favorites in Schweitzer Bowl include Ridge Run and Crystal. The Great Divide blue trail accessed from the top of Great Escape Quad provides an incredible ridgeline view and offers a nice peek into your terrain options in Outback Bowl. If you decide to drop into Outback Bowl, there’s plenty of blue runs to choose from, in fact even more options than in Schweitzer Bowl. Vagabond, Cathedral Aisle and Stella’s Run are popular picks off of the Stella chairlift, while Snow Ghost and Have Fun are favorite from the top of Snow Ghost chairlift. Take in the great views from the Little Blue Ridge Run, which is accessed from either the Snow Ghost chair or Idyle Our T-Bar.
